"Throughout the years and all of my countless adventures around the world, it has come to my attention and realization that there are countries that have a beautiful culture and history but which are often over looked, third world cultures that filled with hidden gems that have not yet been documented to their fullest potential, especially African countries. Alicia Laura Wüst is a Swiss artist with a BFA in photography at Savannah College of Art and Design and additional studies in Graphic Design. Her craft is positively influenced by her numerous travels and the people she meets during her travels.

 

She comes from a mixed background, originally born in Bogota Colombia, she grew up in Zürich Switzerland. Starting from a young age her family has traveled to different places. Currently her focus is on Ghana, however in the near future she plans to travel to Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire to continue her work.
